President Harry S. Truman's remarks at a luncheon in the Midshipmen's Mess Hall in the Naval Academy. The President spoke at 12:35 p.m. in Bancroft Hall at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. During his remarks he referred to Vice Adm. Harry W. Hill, Superintendent of the Academy, Adm. Frank J. Fletcher, Adm. Raymond A. Spruance, and Admiral of the fleet William D. Leahy.
